Went up to Copper Harbor area the last weekend in Feb. You would not believe the snow. Unbelievable!!! The Keweenaw Peninsula is a great place. Lot of places to go and wonderful scenery. A lot of good restaurants as well The Library restaurant in Houghton (Mich Tec) had excellent food. Stayed at Centennial Cottages in Calumet. These cottages are three years old, clean as can be, full kitchen, and $80 a night. The trail starts right out the back. Perfect place.
