Fall Color Update – October 1, 2024

Let’s talk about color. We are now at about 50%, some places more, some places less. We started by saying that our color had become muted. You will still see color with our bright reds and oranges, but it will be spotty throughout our area. One good thing about where we are, is that we will have several peaks in our area. First along U.S. 2 to Watersmeet, next you will find some on the logging roads in the Ottawa, and last along the Lake Shore.

Remember to visit Copper Peak for some spectacular views. It is open daily from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
