Newberry Area Fall Color Photos 2008

.

October 3, 2008 — The leaves are turning very quickly now and the wind is taking a lot of leaves off the poplars, birch and cherry trees. It is supposed to be nicer next week and a bit warmer. The Weather Wizards are predicting we could get down into the low 30’s to upper 20’s tonight. M-117 which runs from U.S. 2 to M-28 is just beautiful! Even in the rain! The colors from M-28 to the Junction of M-123 (just south of Newberry) will captivate your eyes as well! SO PACK YOUR BAGS! NOW IS THE TIME!!! — Cathy Clementz – Northcountry Cabins & Campground

September 24, 2008 — It is cloudy today but the dismal tint of the western sky only enhances the color of the trees. I would say that our immediate area is at about 35-40% with fall foliage. If you came up now, you would see some beautiful trees but if you can wait about 5-7 days, you will enjoy your trip more. — Cathy Clementz – Northcountry Cabins & Campground
