Fall Color Update – October 12, 2016 – Now is the time to view the fall color show in the Porcupine Mountains. Fall color is generally at peak with some past peak areas in the interior and still some early season color near the Lake Superior shoreline.
Enough peak color should hold through the week to make this weekend another great fall color tour weekend. Enjoy the show.

The 2015 fall color season is a little behind this year in Northern Lower Michigan, however, we are now seeing pockets of vivid early color along the interior routes of Northern Lower Michigan. There should be good early season color along these routes this weekend and we’d expect the colors to peak along the interior routes next week and into next weekend – October 10 & 11, 2015.

Great shopping deals Downtown and in Fishtown, with many businesses offering free refreshments! This is the ‘last chance’ for a few Fishtown businesses that close for the season after the 22nd. – Plan to have lunch, dinner or just grab an awesome cup of coffee at our dining and specialty food establishments, walk the beach, take in the seasonal color and perhaps see one of our amazing Leland Harbor sunsets. See you on Saturday!
