Every autumn, nature puts on a brilliant show of color on Drummond Island. From bright yellows to vibrant reds, the leaves transform the landscape, showing off their rich and intense hues.
Every year people flock here to take in the fall foliage, to catch a glimpse of nature’s splendor.
Now they come not only for the colors – they come for the Festival too!
Join us on the Island the second weekend in October every year for one of the largest Fall Festivals in the EUP! Enjoy incredible food from our area restaurants and listen to a talented line-up of musicians while sipping one of the tasty craft beers from Lily’s Seafood Grill & Brewery of Royal Oak.

Drummond Island Hotel sits on a large, peaceful, hardwood forested lot on the Townline Road – just a stones’ throw north of the main hub of activity on the Island. This central location offers convenient access to many of the Island’s marinas, beaches, Jeep and snowmobile trails. Local dining, shopping, banking and laundry facilities are all just an easy stroll away. We offer a total of 9 spacious guest rooms – each opening off of a central hallway with quick, convenient access to the Hotel’s off-street private parking lot. Yacht Haven’s 3 and 4 bedroom cottages are nestled in the wooded shoreline with beautiful views of Potagannissing Bay and the islands surrounding the north shore of Drummond Island. Three and four bedroom cottages have native limestone fireplaces with wood and kindling at no charge. Our four bedroom cottage features 2 bathrooms and a hot tub on the deck overlooking Potagannissing Bay – relax as you enjoy either an early morning soak enjoying the sunrise, or an end-of-the-day wind down as the sun sets in the west – this deck provides an unbelievable panoramic view of the Bay. All cottages come equipped with satellite TV and pets are welcome. Phones are conveniently located. Fresh linens, towels and kitchen utensils provided.
Our cottages sleep up to eight people. Each cottage has two or three bedrooms, a large living room and kitchen combination complete with cooking utensils, and a nice bathroom with shower. Fresh linens are furnished. The cottages are open in the winter months and are very near groomed trails. There is also dock space available if you want to bring your boat and a fish cleaning house for your convienience. A four bedroom vacation home called Southern Exposure is also available for rent just a short walk up Whitney Bay Road from Fort Drummond Marine.
